It is the Policy of Bik Hoi to execute all of it’s projects safely, efficiently and with due regard for the environment.
Safety considerations prevail in all situations with the highest priority. The Directors insist all personnel to comply with and actively work in accordance with this Policy Statement on Safety & Health, with the highest regard for
life and Bik Hoi & Clients’ property.

Objectives

It is Bik Hoi’ s conviction, that Safety Management has to be preventive and must be approached pro-actively.
The objectives will be reviewed for achievement and be adjusted upwards. There are constant Safety Objectives :

* aim for ‘zero’ fatal accidents.
* aim for ‘zero’ dangerous occurrences in all projects.
* aim for ‘zero’ reportable accidents.

General Strategy

The Safety Management System has been defined, developed and documented based on the Guidelines of BS8800 Guide to Occupational Health and Safety Management System and the Guidelines of the Hong Kong Labour Department.
The management elements of the Safety Management System are correlated to ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Systems –
Specification for Production, Installation and Servicing, in order to create a safe environment on all Bik Hoi’ s Project in a qualitative manner.
A Safety Management Committee will be established in which all departments will participate in order to monitor the implementation of the Safety Management System.
Statistics for ‘Accidents & Dangerous Occurrences’will be reviewed by the Management Committee at regular intervals,to develop measures on accidents prevention.
Provisions will be made to maintain the health of Bik Hoi’s work force by improving awareness of hygiene and the provision of appropriate First Aid.
Provisions will be made for training in safety awareness and continuous improvement of safety throughout the Company.
